Third arrest over Great Yarmouth stairwell murder

A third person has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in a stairwell in Norfolk.

Paulius Jakovlevas, 38, was found dead at flats in Wellesley Road, Great Yarmouth, on Monday.

Kestutis Sloiogeris, 39, of Cromwell Road, Peterborough, has been charged with his murder.

A 40-year-old woman from Peterborough was arrested on Thursday in connection with the death and now a man, 38, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The man was arrested in the Great Yarmouth area and is currently in Wymondham Police Investigation Centre awaiting questioning.

Mr Jakovlevas had been living in the Great Yarmouth area since August. His body was found on Monday morning.
