'Life-changing' helper dogs and their amazing skills

Highly-trained assistance dogs can be "life-changing" for disabled people, according to a charity which teaches them to aid their owners with everyday tasks.

Charity Canine Partners, which trains future canine helpers at its Leicestershire centre, places 70 of the animals with disabled owners each year.

Coventry University undergraduate Rachel Ross said her dog Chudleigh had given her more independence since the two were brought together.
