Hall, 83, appeared at Preston Crown Court to enter his pleas earlier.

He is due to stand trial on the charges from 6 May.

Hall was the face of BBC regional news in the North West before he presented the TV entertainment programme It's A Knockout.

In later years, he was best known for his football match summaries on BBC Radio 5 Live.
