Man charged with murder of woman in Wolverhampton hotel

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman who was found dead in a Wolverhampton hotel room on 6 March.

Gurminder Singh, 29, of Forest Gate, east London, is accused of killing Amandeep Kaur Hothi, whose body was discovered at the Britannia Hotel.

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Hothi, 29, died of multiple knife wounds.

Mr Singh was due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court, West Midlands Police said.
