Three men have admitted lying to police over the supply of drugs to a clubber who died after taking a substance he believed to be ecstasy.

Nick Bonnie died at The Warehouse Project in Trafford last September, Manchester Crown Court heard.

James Churchill, Dean Neale and Simon Lloyd-Jones, all from Stroud, admitted perverting the course of justice.

They are due to be sentenced in July. A fourth man is yet to plead on charges of providing false witness statements.

Churchill, Neale and Tabb, from Stroud, have previously pleaded guilty to drugs offences relating to Mr Bonnie's death.

A police investigation began in September after officers were called to Manchester Royal Infirmary following the death of Mr Bonnie, 30, who was originally from Stroud but lived in Bristol.
