Ludlow woman hit by car may have been 'intentionally struck'

Three men have been arrested after a woman was hit by a car in Shropshire, police said.

The 23-year-old woman was hit outside The Bull Hotel, Corve Street, Ludlow at about 00:15 BST on Sunday.

Police said they are investigating whether she was "intentionally struck".

A 22-year-old man from Halesowen and two men from Birmingham, aged 27 and 19, have been arrested and bailed on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, police said.

Det Sgt John Weaver said: "This is a serious incident in which the victim ended up in hospital."
