Stansted Airport terrorism arrest: Woman, 18, bailed
A teenager arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences at Stansted Airport has been released on bail.
The 18-year-old woman was taken into custody by Scotland Yard's counter-terrorism officers when she arrived on a flight on Friday afternoon.
She was arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts and membership of a proscribed organisation, police said.
A man, previously arrested in relation to the same inquiry, was also bailed.
Officers said the 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting another to commit acts of terrorism, or to engage in any conduct for the committing of such acts, by facilitating another to travel abroad.
Met Police said the woman was bailed until mid-February.
