Eight arrested over sexual offences
Eight men have been arrested on suspicion of a series of sexual offences.
Thames Valley Police executed warrants in Hampshire, London, Maidenhead and High Wycombe.
The suspects, aged between 17 and 23, were arrested at different addresses and are not believed to be linked.
They are under suspicion of inciting sexual activity with a child under 16, and causing or inciting possession of indecent images of children.
A 23-year-old from London and a 20-year-old from Maidenhead were arrested on suspicion of both charges.
A 20-year-old from Southsea in Hampshire was arrested on suspicion of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child under 16.
In High Wycombe, five people aged between 17 and 22, including one from Winchester, were arrested on suspicion of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child under 16.
Det Ch Insp Kelly Glister, who is overseeing the investigation, said: "Although these are separate incidents and we believe that the suspects are not linked, we felt it was prudent to execute the warrants simultaneously."
