Absconded HMP Ford prisoner Lucas Lamb arrested

A prisoner who walked out of an open jail in West Sussex has been re-arrested.

Lucas Lamb, 31, absconded from Ford Prison, near Arundel on 5 September. He had been jailed for grievous bodily harm with intent in Hailsham in 2012.

Lamb was arrested in East Sussex on Friday and has been returned to a closed prison, Sussex Police said.

He was known to have had links with Strood in Kent and was thought to have been in the Medway area.
