Four people are being sought by Sussex Police over more than 200 burglaries in the South East after they failed to answer bail.

A 24-year-old man from Sidcup, in south-east London, and a 29-year-old man, from South Ockenden, were due to report to police on 21 February.

A 16-year-old boy from Reigate, Surrey and a 20-year-old West Sussex man from Billingshurst are also being traced.

Cash, jewellery and electrical items have been stolen in the break-ins.

Police said half a dozen houses had been targeted in Fetcham and Bookham over the last two weeks.

Homes in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and south London have also been targeted over the last four months, police said.

Crowborough, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Horley, Redhill, Smallfield, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone are among the towns targeted, along with the Bexley, Orpington and Croydon areas of London.

A 28-year-old man from Reigate has been re-bailed until 21 April.
