Giant sculptures of Shaun the Sheep, decorated by celebrities and artists, have been unveiled in London before going on public display.

Fifty of the models will be placed at locations around the capital from Saturday. A further 70 will form a similar trail in Bristol from July.

Aardman Animations' Nick Park attended the Shaun in the City launch.

When both trails are finished the sculptures will be auctioned to raise money for children's hospitals.

The 5ft (1.5m) high sculptures have been decorated by artists and celebrities, including fashion designer Zandra Rhodes and model David Gandy.

A similar trail of Gromits in Bristol in 2013, which were then auctioned, raised £4.5m for sick children.
