Police investigating an attack on a Watford football fan have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

Nic Cruwys suffered "critical" head injuries in the assault in Wolverhampton on 7 March.

The 44-year-old came under attack while making his way to the railway station with a group of friends.

They had just been to watch Watford play Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux stadium.

A total of 11 people have already been arrested and bailed over the assault on Littles Lane, but police are continuing to analyse CCTV in the area.

"Understandably, this assault is having a huge impact on Nic's wife and children and they are still trying to adjust to life without Nic at home," Det Sgt Adam Keen said.

"While they remain hopeful he will recover fully from his injuries, there is the possibility he will suffer a lasting brain injury and this long-term uncertainty is obviously extremely worrying for them."

Mr Cruwys is currently awaiting a place in a specialist rehabilitation unit.
