Two charged as £2m cannabis found in Aylesbury Vale

Forensic teams are at the site of a cannabis factory in Buckinghamshire where drugs with an estimated street value of at least £2m were discovered.

Police said about 1,000 plants were in an industrial unit near Westcott in Aylesbury Vale, growing in 18 shipping containers.

Det Ch Insp Rebecca Mears said it was one of the largest cannabis factories ever discovered by the force.

Two 29-year-old men have been charged with production of a class B drug.

One of the men is also charged with supplying a class B drug.

Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates' Court later.
