'Cocaine' found at high-security Woodhill Prison

Capsules thought to contain cocaine have been found at a high-security prison in Buckinghamshire.

The suspected drugs were found in 10 capsules during a search of a cell at Category A Woodhill Prison in Milton Keynes.

Bedfordshire Police arrested an 18-year-old prisoner who had used the cell.

A police spokeswoman said no charges had been brought and the substance had been sent for analysis.

Officers were called to investigate the suspected drugs find on 31 August at the jail which can hold 600 prisoners.

A Prison Service spokesman said: "We are working with partner agencies, including the police, to ensure everything possible is done to disrupt the demand for the supply of all illicit drugs in custody."
