Masked armed men raiding Radlett home threaten couple

Two armed, masked men forced their way into a house in Hertfordshire on Tuesday evening while a couple living there were at home.

The men, who were wearing balaclavas, were armed with a gun and a cosh.

They broke in at the back of the house in Newlands Avenue, Radlett and threatened the man and woman living there, Hertfordshire police said.

They then carried out a search and stole jewellery and cash. The man was left with minor injuries.

Det Sgt Mark Clawson said: "This incident has obviously left the victims very shaken and we are extremely keen to track down the men involved."
