Milton Keynes schoolgirl, 14, sexually assaulted

A 14-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted while walking home from school in Milton Keynes.

The victim was walking on wasteland, from the V10 towards Woolstone, when a man walked past her in the opposite direction at about 1530 GMT on Monday.

He then grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her, Thames Valley Police said.

He is described as white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 6in (1.67m), and of average build.

Increased patrols

He had dark brown stubble on his face and a slight tan.

He was wearing a yellow hooded top, a beanie hat, blue jeans and black woollen gloves, police added.

Det Sgt Chris Jackson said: "Obviously this is a concerning incident and we would urge anyone who may have seen the offender or witnessed the incident to contact us.

"We have increased patrols in the area and our neighbourhood officers are liaising directly with the school."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police.
