Woman stabbed to death in High Wycombe identified

A 28-year-old woman found stabbed to death at her home in Buckinghamshire has been formally identified.

Danielle Van Der Zyden, 28, was discovered at the house in West End Street, High Wycombe, on Friday afternoon.

A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of her death to be stab wounds.

A 45-year-old man from High Wycombe, arrested on suspicion of murder in Slough, Berkshire, on Saturday is still in custody.

Det Ch Insp Stan Gilmour of Thames Valley Police said: "Our thoughts are with Danielle's family at this time and we have appointed family liaison officers to offer them support."
