Court throws out boy's murder case

The case against a teenage boy accused of murdering a woman at her home in Buckinghamshire has been thrown out of court.

The 16-year-old, who was not named because of his age, denied the charge.

The judge at Aylesbury Crown Court ruled on Monday that there was no case to answer.

Earlier this month, Usman Shahzad, 21, admitted murdering his mother Assia Shahzad, 40, of Wendover Road, Aylesbury, on 9 October 2010.

Shahzad, of Havelock Street, Aylesbury, has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing later this month.
