Illegal rave on Bedfordshire farmland closed down

An illegal rave on farmland in Lidlington, Bedfordshire, has been closed down by police.

Police were called to land off Sheeptick Lane after reports about 30 people had arrived and sound systems were being set up on Friday afternoon.

"Bedfordshire police will not tolerate illegal raves," a spokesman said.

"They cause a noise nuisance to local residents, are unlicensed and can present serious health and safety risks to those who attend."
