Family pay tribute to stab victim in Bedford
The family of a woman found stabbed to death at her home say they have been devastated by the sudden loss.
Christine Peters, 31, of Wadsworth Court, Bedford, died from a stab wound to her chest on 29 April.
Paying tribute to her, the family described her as a "beautiful person, who was not only a sister, but an amazing mother, daughter, auntie, cousin, niece and friend".
Jordan Quailey, 29, also of Wadsworth Court, has been charged with murder.
In a statement, the family said: "Chrissy lived for her children and was always thoughtful and kind to others.
"An ocean will not fill the void that our baby sister has left behind."
They added: "We, as a family, are deeply touched by the overwhelming outpouring of grief, love and affection that has been shown towards Chrissy."
They also thanked the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Police for their support.
