Luton attacks linked to club argument

A man has been assaulted and another stabbed in what police believe are linked attacks after an argument outside a Luton nightclub.

The first victim, in his 20s, was hit with a belt, knocked to the ground and stamped on outside Legends nightclub in Church Street in the early hours of Sunday.

A second man was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital with stab wounds.

A man has been arrested in connection with the first incident.

Church Street and Park Street were cordoned off for most of the day.
