£10,000 reward offered after Beadlow business fire

A man whose business was partly destroyed in an arson attack which caused damage put at £1.5m, has offered a reward for information.

Up to 18 lorries and a tank of diesel were burnt out in the fire at Thomas Bros Excavations (Luton) Ltd, Shefford Road, Beadlow, on 30 May.

Bedfordshire Police said the fire was started deliberately.

Andrew Burton said he was shocked by the destruction and has offered a £10,000 reward for information.

"This incident has affected my family, my staff and my friends," he said.

"Seeing this massive amount of destruction has shocked me to the core, but I am determined my business will recover and be back to normal very quickly."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
