Hertfordshire police say river death 'tragic accident'
Hertfordshire police said the death of a 31-year-old man in a river was a "tragic accident".
Officers have released without charge a man, 40, and a woman, 27, who had been arrested and questioned over Daniel Cockman's death.
Mr Cockman's body was recovered by police divers from the River Lea in Ware on Wednesday.
Police were called to Broadmeads on Tuesday night after reports of a man in the water, shouting for help.
Det Ch Insp Peter Fulham said: "Evidence indicates that Daniel fell into the river and was unable to get out.
"His family informed us that he was unable to swim."
