Sex attack on woman near church in High Wycombe

A 20-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted as she walked through a church yard after a night out in Buckinghamshire.

The attack happened at about 0350 BST on Sunday near All Saints church in High Wycombe.

She fought off the man and ran to a nearby taxi rank to get help.

The man is white, very tanned, about 21-years-old, 5ft 2ins tall, average build, with short, brown, spiked hair. He wore blue jeans and a red top.

Det Con Tim Robins said: "This matter is being treated as a serious sexual assault.

"Fortunately, the victim was not physically injured in the assault, but she has understandably been left extremely shaken and upset.

"I am appealing for anyone who was out in Wycombe last night into this morning and saw a man matching the description of the offender to contact police.

"I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him running away from the scene in Corporation Road, or anyone who recognises his description."
