Man's death in Luton prompts murder probe
A murder inquiry has begun after a man found critically injured in a bungalow in Bedfordshire died in hospital.
Police were called to the property in Vespers Close, Luton, on Saturday evening where they found the man.
He was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital but died later. A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death to be head injuries.
The dead man has not yet been named. Two men arrested on Saturday night remain in police custody.
House-to-house inquiries have been carried out by the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit.
