Boy airlifted to hospital after Hertfordshire stabbing

A teenage boy has been airlifted to hospital after being stabbed during an attack in Hertfordshire.

The 16-year-old was assaulted in Charles Street, Hemel Hempstead, shortly before 1130 BST.

He was taken by air ambulance to St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, where his injuries are not said to be life-threatening.

Three youths have been arrested and are being questioned by Hertfordshire Police.
