Luton teenager in court on Blackberry incitement charge

A 17-year-old boy from Luton has appeared in court charged with inciting others to commit crime via Blackberry messaging.

The teenager, who is from the Stopsley area and cannot be named because of his age, was arrested by police on Wednesday night.

It is alleged he used the messaging system to encourage others to carry out burglaries.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Luton Youth Court on 16 August.
