Lorry driver attacked and robbed in Milton Keynes

A lorry driver has been attacked by four men and robbed of tens of thousands of pounds worth of 34in flat-screen televisions.

The robbery happened when the lorry was parked up on roadside in Burners Lane, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, in the early hours of Thursday morning.

When the driver left his cab he was attacked by the men and 96 televisions were taken.

The driver received minor injuries but was released after hospital treatment.

The robbers are believed to have used a white van.

Det Con Sarah Hunt, of Thames Valley Police, said: "We're keen to identify any witnesses to this incident.

"We believe a car drove past at the time but no details are known of the driver who may have seen something significant."

Anyone with information is asked to call Thames Valley Police.
