Two passengers injured in Bedfordshire bridge car crash
A passenger in a car that crashed into a bridge in Bedfordshire early on Saturday morning is in a very serious condition in hospital.
The crash happened at Houghton Conquest at about 00:30 BST, police said.
A second passenger in the Citroen Saxo that left Chapel End Road just outside the village was also injured but the driver was unhurt.
The most seriously injured passenger was airlifted to a London hospital and the other taken to Bedford Hospital.
Police said all three were young males and they are appealing for witnesses.
In particular the police want to speak to the occupants of a VW Golf that was seen in the area at the time.
