Watford street entertainer death: family pay tribute

The family of a street entertainer found dead with multiple stab wounds in a garden in Watford have described him as a caring and intelligent man.

Mujib Rahman Hakim, 40, was last seen when he left the family home on 27 May. His body was discovered in the garden of a house in Merton Road on Saturday.

Josh Lewis, 22, of Merton Road, has been remanded in custody charged with Mr Hakim's murder.

Mr Hakim's family said he was well known around Watford.

He had a degree in economics and social policy from the Royal Holloway University of London.

"He was a friendly, sociable, generous and intelligent man," they added.

"His death has left a deep sadness and vacuum in our lives. We will remember our brother, in our hearts and minds, always."

Five men arrested as part of the murder investigation are on bail.
