The family of a woman fatally stabbed at a house in Bedfordshire have described her as "loyal, lovable, funny and proud".

Tracy Anstice, 37, of Carlisle Road, Dunstable, was found at Buttermere Close, Flitwick, on 26 August. She died in hospital that afternoon.

Her husband, Lee Anstice, 49, has been charged with her murder.

In a statement, her family said the "fantastic mum" had been particularly happy over the past six months.

"On a recent day out she turned heads because she radiated such vitality and happiness," they added.

"Her young daughter was her life and she had a huge network of friends who loved her as much as us.

"We were so proud of her. She loved her job working for the Mental Health Unit at NHS Bedfordshire.

"She made a difference to people. You couldn't not love her.

"We would like to thank everyone for all the messages of love and support that we have and continue to receive."
