Hertfordshire man charged over £100k drugs find

A man has been charged after more than £100,000 of drugs were found by police in Hertfordshire.

Officers stopped a van in Batford, near Harpenden, on Saturday, and seized 40kg of cannabis.

The Serious and Organised Crime Group later searched premises in Cheshunt and a haul of drugs was recovered, including 6kg of cocaine.

A 51 year old, of Harkness in Waltham Cross, has been charged with possession with intent to supply.

He appeared at Hatfield Court earlier and was remanded in custody to appear at Stevenage magistrates on 14 September
