Married mother found with multiple injuries in Luton
The death of a 44-year-old married mother, who was found at her home in Bedfordshire with multiple injuries, is being treated as suspicious by police.
Paramedics found the woman on Friday afternoon at a house in Butely Road, Luton.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out on Saturday to establish the exact cause of death, police said.
Bedfordshire Police have appealed to anyone who may have information to come forward.
DCI Mike Trotman said: "We have not yet established a motive for this woman's death.
"I would urgently appeal to anyone who was in the Butely Road area of Luton between 14:00 and 16:00 BST on Friday and who may have information that could help police to come forward.
"The victim was a wife and mother and we do not know who would want to kill her.
"If you can help us please come forward. Any call you make will be treated in strictest confidence."
