Amersham murder inquiry team arrest man and woman

A man and a woman have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a man who died from stab wounds in Amersham.

Ryan Cronin, 41, was found at his flat in Quarrendon Road, Amersham, on 5 August.

A 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both from Hertfordshire, were arrested on Tuesday, said police.

The woman has now been released on bail and the man remains in police custody, said a police spokesman.

In a statement issued through police by Mr Cronin's family, they said his "tragic death" had left his "mother and father, his three brothers and his many friends both in North London and in the Chesham and Amersham areas devastated".
