Luton motorcyclist killed in crash in Hertfordshire

A 41-year-old motorcyclist from Luton has died in a road crash in north Hertfordshire.

The man was riding his motorbike on the B655 Hexton Road, near Hexton, at 11:45 BST on Friday when he was involved in a collision with a small lorry.

Bedfordshire Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information to give officers is asked to call Bedfordshire Police.

PC Kevin Sloan from the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit said: "This is a very sad incident and our thoughts are with the man's family at this difficult time.

"I would really like to speak with anyone who may have seen this incident occur, or who believes they may have seen the motorcyclist riding from Barton-Le-Clay towards Hexton."

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Kevin Sloan via the non-emergency number on 101.
