Appeal after Hertfordshire woodland body find

Police are trying to trace the last movements of a 69-year-old man whose body has been found in Hertfordshire woodland.

The body of Frank White, from Welwyn Garden City, was found by a dog walker on Saturday 8 October off Harmer Green Lane at Digswell.

At this stage his death is being treated as unexplained, police said.

"It is unclear how Frank came to be at this location or how long he had been there," Det Insp Jerome Kent said.

"We are trying to piece together his last known movements.

"I believe the area is used by dog walkers and I am keen to hear from you if you have been there recently.

"I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have any information which would assist our investigation."

Anyone with information should Hertfordshire Police or Crimestoppers.
