Youth charged with attempted murder over Watford attack

A homeless teenager charged with attempted murder has been remanded in custody.

The 19-year-old appeared in court accused of attacking a man in his 20s in Hertfordshire early on Sunday.

The man from London was assaulted in Rosslyn Way, Watford, at 02:30 GMT and was still in a serious but stable condition in hospital on Tuesday.

The teenager, of no fixed abode, is due before Watford Magistrates' Court again on 15 November.

A 23-year-old man from Watford was released on bail until 13 November.

Det Insp Justine Jenkins, said: "We are looking for further people in connection with this incident.

"I am therefore appealing for anyone who was in the area of the Gade car park and saw anything that happened to please contact us as soon as possible.

"We are aware that numerous people were in the area at the time and witnessed this incident."
