Woman hid in cemetery after sex assault in Bedfordshire
A 28-year-old woman hid in a cemetery to escape a man who sexually assaulted her, Bedfordshire police say.
The woman was walking along Potton Road in Biggleswade when she was grabbed from behind by the man around 01:00 GMT on Sunday.
The man tried to kiss the woman and pull her into an alleyway but she fought him off and hid in a nearby cemetery.
The woman then went to the Red Lion pub in London Road where she called police.
Bedfordshire police are appealing for witnesses to the assault to come forward.
The attacker is described as a white man, between 40 to 50 years old with a bald or shaved head.
He was around 5ft 10ins tall of medium build and was wearing dark clothing.
