Borehamwood Catherine Wynter stabbing: Man remanded

An 18-year-old man has appeared in court accused of murdering babysitter Catherine Wynter in Hertfordshire on Boxing Day.

Tony Bushby is accused of killing Miss Wynter, 19, at the property in Beech Drive, Borehamwood.

Miss Wynter was found stabbed to death by her mother on 27 December.

Mr Bushby, of Digswell Close, Borehamwood, was remanded in custody at St Albans Crown Court. He is due to enter a plea on 14 March.

A trial date has been set for 2 July.

A post-mortem examination found Miss Wynter died from stab injuries.
