Death of man found on Wooburn Common 'unexplained'

The death of a man found on a common in Buckinghamshire has been described as "unexplained" by police.

The body of the Polish man, who was in his 40s, was found in a secluded area on Wooburn Common near Beaconsfield.

Thames Valley Police were called to the scene at about 11:30 GMT on Saturday after a member of the public reported finding a body.

Det Supt Rob Mason said: "We are treating this death as unexplained and investigating how the man died."

He said: "The result of the post-mortem examination carried out on Saturday was inconclusive and we are currently waiting for the results of further test to be carried out."

Next of kin have been informed but no formal identification has yet taken place.
