Woman raped near Aylesbury train station

A 19-year-old woman has been raped in an attack near a Buckinghamshire train station.

Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to the Iron Bridge in Station Way, Aylesbury, shortly before 02:30 GMT.

The victim is being interviewed by specially trained officers.

Appealing for information, Det Insp Nick Glister, of Thames Valley Police, said such incidents were rare in the Aylesbury area.
