A man has been found guilty of murdering a friend in a frenzied knife attack at the victim's Buckinghamshire home.

Suresh Nahar, 32, of Gurnards Avenue, Fishermead, in Milton Keynes, stabbed David Law nine times, last September.

Nahar was arrested at 33-year-old Mr Law's Milton Keynes home and claimed he had acted in self defence.

However, a jury at Luton Crown Court convicted him of murder and will be sentenced on Wednesday.

Nahar killed Mr Law when he went to his home in Litchfield Down, Walnut Tree, on the night of 5 September.

The court heard a "commotion" broke out in the garden of the property.

Nahar had stabbed his friend nine times and inflicted other superficial wounds.

Mr Law died in hospital from his injuries.

The court was told the men had been friends for many years and had worked together in the past.

Nahar had chosen not to give evidence at his trial.
