Fire at electrical substation in Luton closes A505 Gipsy Lane

Passengers heading towards Luton Airport are being warned to expect delays after a road was closed by a fire at an electrcity sub-station.

Emergency crews were called just before midnight to the unit on Kimpton Road.

Bedfordshire Police have closed off a section of the A505 Gipsy Lane to traffic.

Diversions are in place but commuters have been warned to expect delays especially those travelling to the airport.
