Man charged with manslaughter over Luton flat death

A 45-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter after a man died in his flat in Bedfordshire.

Andrew Parsons, 45, of no fixed address, is accused of killing Joseph Doherty, 43, in New Bedford Road in Luton on Thursday 3 May.

He is also accused of administering a noxious substance and possessing a prohibitive drug with intent to supply.

Mr Parsons is being held in custody and is expected to appear before Luton Magistrates' Court later.
