Ex-councillor Stephen Holmes admits child image charges

A former Hertfordshire county councillor has admitted possessing and making indecent images of children.

Stephen Holmes, 60, from Hemel Hempstead, pleaded guilty to 23 charges at St Albans Magistrates' Court on Monday.

He has been bailed and is due for sentencing at St Albans Crown Court on 15 October.

Holmes resigned from his county council and Dacorum Borough Council seats after he was arrested in May.
