A10 crash leaves three teenagers dead
Three teenagers have been killed in a collision between a car and a lorry on the A10 in Hertfordshire.
The victims - one aged 19 and two aged 17 - died at the scene following the collision near Turnford at about 14:15 GMT on Friday.
The dead were the driver and two passengers of a Vauxhall Corsa which collided with a Mercedes lorry.
A fourth man in the car was taken to Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel by air ambulance with serious injuries.'Tragic incident'
Police named the victims as Ashley Jones, 19, from Canvey Island; and 17-year-olds Harry Ferrand and Jack Boyton, both from Enfield. They were all pronounced dead at the scene.
Sgt Colin Jenkinson, of Hertfordshire Police, said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the victims' families at this difficult time.
"We are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for anyone who may have seen the blue Corsa immediately prior to the collision happening to please get in contact.
"I would also be interested to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or noticed something after it took place. Any information you provide could be crucial to our investigation."
