Mark Austin, 53, was seriously assaulted during an altercation at Harcourt Green in Aylesbury shortly before 01:00 GMT on Thursday.

He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he died on Friday.

Police said a man, 49, arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of GBH has since been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
