Fire crews remained overnight at the scene of a fire on the fourth floor of an office block in Watford town centre.

At its height, 90 firefighters tackled the blaze at the building on Clarendon Road, which broke out on Monday evening in an electrical plant room.

Nearby Watford Junction station was closed and London Overground services were suspended for an hour. A large cordon was placed around the building.

Hertfordshire Fire Service said no-one was injured in the fire.

A joint investigation between police and the fire service into the cause of the fire, which is not thought to be suspicious, is due to take place.
