George Michael M1 incident: Woman 'saw singer in road'

A woman has described helping a man who lay bleeding on the M1, not realising it was the singer George Michael.

The pop star was airlifted to a specialist trauma centre in London for treatment to head injuries after the incident at junction 6A in Hertfordshire on Thursday.

Michael is still being kept in hospital for treatment, according to his agent.

Katherine Fox was driving to her home in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, when traffic stopped. She says she got out of her vehicle to help the singer, before using her car to shield him.
