Aylesbury taxi ride woman raped in garden

A woman was raped in the back garden of a house in Aylesbury by a man she got into a taxi with after a night out.

The 49-year-old woman was with friends in Mendoza's when she was introduced to her attacker and danced with him, police said.

He then got a maroon taxi with her in Market Square in the early hours of Sunday and raped her in a garden in the area of Fowler Road.

The man is described as Albanian, in his 40s, and about 5ft 6in and slim.

He has mousy brown short hair and was wearing a short-sleeved top, jeans and black shoes.

Police were alerted to the attack at 02:40 BST and want anyone who saw the man in the club, in Market Square, or where the rape happened to contact them.

They are also keen to speak to the taxi driver.
